Any amount helps our students
We seek support from individuals and community businesses to help sustain Lawrence Central’s nationally recognized Performing Arts Program. These award winning arts programs — including band, choir, orchestra, theater, dance and color guard — provide extraordinary educational opportunities for our children and attract many families to Lawrence Township. In the current economic environment, many LC families are finding it increasingly difficult to pay the fees necessary for their children to participate in the school’s award winning ensembles. We ask for your support — through sponsorships and scholarship aid for students — to keep LC’s music and arts programs affordable for all students who desire to participate in and receive the educational benefits from these educational experiences.
Many employers match gifts to LCPAA
Did you know, if you work for, or are retired from a company that matches gifts or service to educational institutions or programs, your tax deductible contribution to the LCPAA can go two or three times as far? Many national and local companies will match your gift dollar for dollar, and some companies even double or triple the amount of your gift. Your gift of $100 could actually mean $200 or $300 of benefit for LC arts programs.
Did you make cookies or donate Gatorade for Band Camp? Did you bring snacks for Choir Boot Camp? Did you buy food or other items for the SOC Invitational or The Classic? Have you ever purchased anything that directly benefited the LCPAA? If so you should already be saving those receipts for tax purposes. Now imagine totaling up all of those small donations and your employer writing a check for one, two or three times that amount to the LCPAA!
Many of these same companies will also provide a gift amount based on the number of hours you volunteer. For example, one local employer will provide $500 to an organization if you volunteer 32 hours in a calendar year. If you already spend time volunteering, why not fill out a form and get the benefit your company is more than willing to provide?
Ask your Human Resources Office for a Matching Gift or Service form. If you have any questions, please email GiftMatch@LCPAA.org for further information.
Performing Arts Sponsors 2023-2024
Thanks to the generous support of local businesses and individuals, the LCPAA is able to offer the highest quality educational opportunities possible to our students and first class entertainment to our audiences. We offer our most sincere thanks to all contributors to the Performing Arts at Lawrence Central and encourage you to support these businesses, as they have so kindly supported us!
