Crystal Barrett is currently Principal Oboe with the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra and Second Oboe with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally, she has an active career as a freelance musician in the Greater Indianapolis area with ensembles such as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. She has also been Principal Oboe with the Long Bay Symphony and the Ohio Light Opera. Other engagements include the Kent/Blossom Music Festival, the National Orchestral Institute, Sarasota Music Festival, the Bloomington Camerata Orchestra, the South Carolina Philharmonic and the Louisiana State University Chamber Winds Camp.
Ms. Barrett maintains a large private oboe studio and as an active adjudicator has served with the Indiana State Schools Solo and Ensemble Festival and the South Carolina Central Region Band Auditions.
She is affiliated with the Delta Omicron Music Fraternity, International Double Reed Society and is a lifetime member of the Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Society. She is also a recipient of the Earnest Harrison Oboe Scholarship and has had the pleasure of studying with oboists John Mack, Nancy Ambrose King, Frank Rosenwein and Jeff Rathbun.
Ms. Barrett received her Doctorate and Performer Diploma from Indiana University under the direction of accomplished oboists Roger Roe and Linda Strommen. Additionally, she completed a Master of Music from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College.

Horn Instructor Sharon Weyser maintains an active career throughout Indiana and Illinois as a performer, teacher and arts administrator. She is a member of the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, Danville Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia da Camera and the Indianapolis based contemporary music ensemble Orkestra Projekt. Sharon has taught privately since 1995. She holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music, Indiana University and Stony Brook University.

Jay Young is the Director of Jazz Bands, and Private Instructor of Woodwinds at Lawrence Central High School, and is an Adjunct Professor of Woodwinds at Marian University.
At home in a broad range of styles, Jay is an active performer, having toured/performed playing throughout the United States and the World with some of the most recognizable names in the music business including: Saxophones/Woodwinds in the “Bob and Tom Band” (from the nationally syndicated radio show), Musical Director/Arranger for the ESB (Endless Summer Band) Horns, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Johnny Mathis, The Manhattan Transfer, Three Dog Night, Sha Na Na, Lou Rawls, Mary Wilson, Martha Reeves and the Vadellas, The Spinners, Marie Osmond, Sandi Patti, Frankie Valli, Bobby Vinton, Jerry Lewis, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Harry James Orchestra, The Buselli –Wallarab Jazz Orchestra, The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians, Steve Allee, numerous shows and “Broadway” musicals, numerous recordings and Radio/Television commercials…..the list goes on and on. Mr. Young is an Artist/Clinician for Selmer musical instruments.
